Day to day itinerary
Day 1
historic sites in Bergen
The city of Bergen is packed with historic and culturally important sites. You are bound to stumble upon at least a few just by driving from the airport.
First up is the famous composer ans musician, Edvard Grieg’s home. This spectacular mansion in southern Bergen stands as a monument to Greig’s legacy and the wonderful music he created. Not only was this his home it is also where he and his wife were buried.
Next, true Norwegian heritage. Fantoft Stave Church that dates back to 1150. Originally built in the small town of Fortun, deep in Fjord-Norway and later moved to Bergen is a sight to see. The viking-inspired lines of the church stands out from but at the same time blends perfectly together with the Norwegian nature.
Last is the Royal residence of the Norwegian royal family, Gamlehaugen. This is one of the biggest mansions in Bergen and the area is of historical significance dating back to the Middle Ages.
Day 2
from city to mountain
After breakfast, join a a food and culture walk through the city of Bergen. You will be guided through the UNESCO’s world heritage site of Bryggen, walk through the winding streets of the old town and have several stops along the way for food and refreshments.
After your guided lunch tour, take to the mountains for some activities. A funicular will take you up to Mt. Fløyen where some good old competition is waiting. Test your aim at axe throwing and shooting with bow & arrow. Why not make a competition out of it?
Take the funicular back down to the city and freshen up before a nice dinner. The restaurant in question is situated in historic surroundings at Bryggen. This tavern will serve the finest of traditional Norwegian cuisine in the surrounding only Bryggen can deliver.
Optional:
Hiking trail roundtrip Fløyen
If axe throwing and bow shooting sounds a bit too extreme, the trails of Mt. Fløyen is the perfect setting for a short roundtrip. With gravel roads all leading from and to the restaurant, playground and bar at the top, you can do the roundtrip and/or relax with some refreshing drinks at the bar.
Day 3
Mountain hike and farm visit
Your final full day in Bergen embark on a guided farm visit and mountain hike, on North Europe’s largest inland island. A coach takes you from the city center into the fjords. As you travel towards your destination, nature, mountains and villages will accompany you and offer ample photo opportunities.
As you arrive, you will meet your hosts at the farm, who will guide you on your visit and you will be served lunch from local produce.
After lunch it’s time to get up higher and you will be guided to one of the best views there is in the Bergen region.
Board a rib boat that will take you back to the city center, enjoy the great views of the Bergen city fjord and several historic sites along the seafront.
You will be back in city center in time for a relaxing dinner at your hotel.

Day 4
The last asventure
For your departure day, enjoy a lunch accompanied by fantastic views ar Mt. Ulriken.
Mt. Ulriken is the highest of the seven city mountains surrounding Bergen. You will be transported from the hotel to the lower station of the cable car.
A smooth ride will take you up to the top of Mt. Ulriken where you will have your lunch at the restaurant. The views up here are said to be the best views of the city of Bergen.
After your lunch the cable car will take you back down to your transport to the airport. And with that, your Bergen incentive trip has come to an end.
