Credit card payments in favor of Norway Insight are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as FJORDAND on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION
Your booking is complete when you pay deposit or full payment for your tour or activity.
All rates are quoted in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) per person and include taxes and VAT.
In case of changes of official taxation or VAT, prices will be changed accordingly.
Norway Insight, charges 25 % of the product price as a down payment. The remaining amount shall be paid no less than 60 days prior to departure.If we have not received your payments within the due dates all reservations made will be cancelled without further notice. Deposit is non-refundable. If a customer books a trip within 60 days till departure, the customer will first pay the down payment through the website and receive a notification of the remaining amount during a week after the down payment is paid.
After you have booked and paid a down payment you will receive a booking confirmation with booking details and receipt. Detailed itinerary, vouchers and last travel details will be dispatched by email after final payment.
Fjord & reserves the right to alter itineraries and accommodation in the event of circumstances beyond our control.
For overnight tours our general cancellation charge is equal the deposit paid.
For cancellation less than 60, and more than 40 days prior to arrival: 60% refund
For cancellation less than 40, and more than 20 days prior to arrival: 40% refund
For cancellation less than 20 days prior to arrival: no refunds
All cancellations must be received in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date when written notice is received by Norway Insight.
We recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance in case of illness, with your travel insurance. Check with your insurance company whether you already have valid cancel insurance.
Changes/alterations of the existing itinerary
The customer may change the itinerary after the deposit/final payments have been made, up to 40 days before tour start (certain tours/products may have other limits/terms). There will be a fee of NOK 1250 for changes to a new tour/product or major changes to the reserved itinerary. If the tour/product includes non-refundable items, additional costs will apply accordingly.
For daytours we require full payment when booking. Tickets/vouchers will be available as soon as payment is confirmed.
Daytours can be cancelled up to 2 days before arrival with an cancellation fee of NOK 50,-
All cancellations must be received in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date when written notice is received by Fjord &.
Some of our tours are on request, and you will normally receive a booking confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Terms an conditions will be this document and will be sent along wilth your booking confirmation and payment information.
Our taylor made tours will have conditions similar to overnight tours and will be sent to you by e-mail along with our offer to you.
CANCELLATION BY US
Norway Insight reserves the right to move or cancel tours / activities due to weather conditions and for your own safety. Guests shall be notified as early as possible. If so, the customer will not be charged for this spesific activity. If the weather conditions indicates that the tour is not feasible, participants can be offered alternative activity.
In case of emergencies, natural disaster, political disturbances and the like beyond our control (Force Majeure), which leaves with no other option than to cancel or alter a trip, Norway Insight is not obligated to refund any deposit or total trip costs which may have incurred on the customer, as this in most cases is to be covered by travel insurances. However, customer satisfaction is important to us, and if Force Majeure is to occur, we will ensure the best service and security as we possibly can, and in many cases re-booking a trip to another date may be the best option.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES
Norway Insight, or anyone representing Norway Insight, is not responsible for any delays, inconveniences, accidents, injuries, cancellations or expenses of any kind resulting entirely, or in part, from the negligence of others, the customer or from causes beyond our control. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, participants assume all risks of personal injury and aggravation of any medical condition related in any way to the activities of the tour. Baggage and other personal properties are solely the responsibility of the owner and we are not liable for any loss incurred on the customer.
We advise our customers to carefully read through their insurance policy to check the coverage before going on any trip.
Some of the activities requires you to fill in a declaration form, children under 18 years need a parent or guardian to sign.
You are personally responsible for bringing all your travel documents and for checking that the details and information supplied are correct and in accordance with your booking.
FILMS AND PHOTOS
Norway Insight reserves the rights to advertise our tours and activities on the internet and on social media. This will often include photographs and films with participants. If any participant does not wish to be shown on film or photos from our trips, please inform us upon arrival.
TRAVEL & CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you have a travel insurance that covers not only the travel but also cancellation, sickness/medical conditions, lost/stolen luggage and personal items and in case of Force Majeure. You should also make sure that your insurance cover the activity/adventure you are planning to do.
We ask for personal information in the booking request section. This information is necessary to ensure that we are able to make and confirm your booking. This information will not be used for any other purposes, and will not be shared with any other outside parties except for necessary information given to the parties involved in your booking (hotels etc.).
The personal information will not be sold or shared, and your e-mail address will not be forwarded to outside parties.
We may collect and use your information for administrative purposes, such as improving our service, business management and operation, research and analysis, marketing, monitoring, measuring and assessing customer purchasing preferences and trends and dispute resolution.
This contract is governed by Norwegian law, by agreeing to our terms and conditions the customer agrees that any dispute or claim shall be tried under Norwegian law.
If If, by any means, an incident occurs during your holliday or you feels there is a reason to file a complaint, you must inform the host/guide or our Customer Service on tel. +4755325500 as soon as possible to enable us to rectify any problem. Norway Insight will always attempt to resolve any dispute or complaint on the spot. If a complaint arises after a trip has been finished, Norway Insight must receive the complaint in written form no later than two weeks after the trip is done.
By paying the deposit/final amount the customer has accepted the general terms and conditions listed in this document, as a part of the agreement between Norway Insight and the customer.
