Norway Insight offers great nature adventures with local culture. Our mission is to lead you away from the crowds and show you what we love about Norway. We have been doing this for 12 years in the centre of Bergen and in Fjord Norway. Our office is situated in the centre of Bergen, at The Old Hanseatic wharf at Bryggen – on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. You find us close to the city’s lively Fish Market and in walking distance from the cruise harbours.

Trolltunga Sunset and Sunrise tour

Guided 3-day tour to Trolltunga with accommodation in tent. Experience sunset and sunrise from Trolltunga. Beautiful, intense and magical! This is a unique nature experience with views from Trolltunga over Ringedalsvatnet and the sun setting in the west, behind the Folgefonna glacier. It will be a very special atmosphere and the next morning you wake at sunrise and Trolltunga almost entirely to yourself. Local bus from Bergen to Odda through the beautiful Hardanger. The guide will meet you in Skjeggedal. The hike is 22 km (13,7 miles) and takes in total approx. 10-12 hours to walk (two days). Classification: Black, difficult.

Guided Food and Culture Walk

Experience the city of Bergen with all your senses. This tour takes you through the history of Bergen and tastes of local food and it’s story. Learn about Bergen and the local food traditions and history from a local guide. Your guide speaks fluent English. Bergen is on UNESCO's creative city list for gourmet city. Local commodities and homemade products are in focus in our food tour. Your local guide will take you through the old part of the city and you will have 5 stops with tastes on your experience. ​One taste will be inside one of the unique old houses at Bryggen, which is on UNESCO's list of world heritage. Another taste is in a small restaurant, by locals – and used to be a public bath. The food served should be enough for a lunch, and the last stop will be at the oldest existing cellar in Norway with a special story accompanied by a beer. • Age: All ages. • Start time: at. 12:30 Every day from our office at Bryggen • Season: All year • Duration: 3 hours • Number of persons: Minimum 2 persons (January to May) • Cancellation: Cancellation with full refund up to 48 hours before the trip starts. Fjord, Kayak and blue ice

Day tour to Rosendal. Fjord cruise, kayak on the lake Møsevatn in front of the glacier and blue ice trip on Folgefonna Glacier. The tour starts with a fjord cruise from Bergen to Rosendal. On the boat trip, you will be able to see the spectacular fjords Bjørnefjord and Hardangerfjord. You will also pass the archipelago outside Bergen. Rosendal is beautifully situated by the Hardanger Fjord and between the mountains Skålafjell, Melderskin and Malmangernuten. The kayak and glacier guides from Folgefonni Breførarlag will meet you by the boat and take you up in the mountain to the lake where the tour starts. You will paddle in stable double kayaks that fit well for beginners. There are also single kayaks available, if desired. The glacier trip at Folgefonna can be customized with demanding climbing for those who want that, or easier walking on the glacier, if you prefer that. The tour requires that you are above 15 years and have a normal level of fitness, but does not require any previous kayaking experience.  The kayak tour is around 5 km (3,1 miles) and the Glacier Hike 2-5 km (1,2-3,1 miles) Classification: blue, medium Practical information Exclusive experience Maximum 4 persons pr. guide Glacier front change during season and not always possible to do glacier hike.
